Greetings from Belgium

Postby Duysterwoud on 21 Aug 2010 06:12

Hi, my name is Sarah Van Buggenhout.
I'm an 18-year-old resident of Bruges, Belgium; future literature student, and proud owner of a James Dean T-shirt :tinhat29
As I mentioned, this september I will begin my studies of German and English literature.
I discovered Band of Brothers not so long ago, when Canvas did the reruns. And I'm proud to admit that nothing has ever moved me before like the story of those heroes ( even though we all know they'd never call themselves that).
This is why I joined a Belgian initiative called Live and Remember. The purpose is to remember those soldiers. All I had to do was pick an Allied WWII soldier, who died in combat, and make him a facebook fanpage.
I loved Band of Brothers, and 'The Breaking Point' was one of the most heart-breaking episodes. Someone else had already made a page for Skip Muck, so I decided to honour his friend Alex Penkala.
You would do me all a great favour by becoming a fan of my page.
Just follow the link : http://www.facebook.com/pages/Live-and- ... all&ref=mf
Thanks a lot.
Sarah :salute:

I'm going to study in Kortrijk for two years, and after that it's another two years in Leuven.
