A dream died.....

Hadnt been born but i still remember my father, years later, talking in awe of the Busby Babes ....and he wasnt even what you would call a Soccer fan being dedicated to Gaelic football.

What we must not forget is that 14 other people died in this tragedy and the heroism displayed by survivors and ordinary German people during the rescue effort.

They had a one minute silence at the England/Switzerland football match Wes night, it last 29 seconds :tinhat19

I know Man City won (2 Manchester derbies in one season, shocking). I haven't heard anything about how well the moment of silence was maintained though.

Well i have to take my hat off to the City fans they held the silence and took part in what was a very emotional mark of respect.
