I just want to say as a ww2 buff all my life, and a historian , i would like to salute major winters and the men who fought under him....i know you dont count urselves as heros,but for us you all are heros...Im in total oar of the men of easy company and im standing and saluting you all...Major winters sir , i respect and honour you and ur men..a great leader and a great man...i wish i could meet u in person...Im in australia and i have watched band of brothers thousands of times,what you and ur men went through is just unbeliveable...I CANNOT GIVE YOU ALL ENOUGH PRAISE...you can see the love you have for ur men and the love and respect they have for you....carlwood lipton said you were a great leader and tactition all through out the war...SIR you have 100% total support and yes you have made me cry over and over again, with ur outpouring of love and respect to ur men.....I HONOUR u sir and ur men....to get an email back from you would be up there with the birth of my children...I was a soldier for 19 yrs....your friend for life ...cpl rod handsaker...
