Hello all I am as the screen name says I am a cub scout den leader one of my scouts Davis Jacobs was so inspired by Band of brothers he put forword the the den name screaming eagles and the boys have now adopted it The summer hope to take the den to Tacoa and hike the mountain. It is truley refreshing to work with 16 truly motiveted and patriotic young men.

Welcome....and well done to Davis and the rest of the lads ( and lassies?) for their decision on the name !
Just had a quick thought...i wonder of their are any WW2 vets around who would be willing to meet up with your unit and share their experiences....now that would be an experience for them !

You should invite one of them on a camping trip or at least ask them to visit your camp. They can give you few pointers on living in the field.

Enlightening younger generations to the lessons of the WWII era has been a goal of so many vets. You are certainly helping with that. Glad you have joined us.
