Does anyone subscribe to this and recommend it? I'm considering it and I'm just looking for a recommendation.

Thanks,

Excellent. Thanks Chris. Maybe we'll run into each other at the memorial.

Which month's copy did you get Bill? I don't subscribe but usually check it out when I get up to the Dix/McGuire Exchange magazine rack. I buy editions that contain anything of particular interest to me. I thought the April edition is have something about Major Winters, but I could be wrong on that.

Connie,

It is the March/April edition and it does have a brief article on Jordan Brown. I have only read through about a quarter of the magazine, but it's pretty interesting.

Bill,

DC was great...all my time was spent at Arlington Cemetery though. I missed out on all the other monuments (WWII memorial, Korean War memorial, Vietnam wall, etc)..I was so dissapointed that I didn't get to see them.

Arlington was very overwelming and pulled on my heartstrings. Thanks for the compliments about the photos.

Chris,

Well if you have to see one thing in DC and your a person like us, you have to see Arlington. The WWII memorial is amazing and I shed a tear every time I go there, but personally I think its important to see the changing of the guard and to simply pay our respect at the cemetery.

Its amazing how people act when they are there. In the Civil Air Patrol we have cadets aged 12-20 and we brought a group there not too long ago and with teenagers you typically have to keep them focused and some what in line. Not at Arlington. Granted these teenagers are not your typical group as they all have military interests, but when they walked through that place they knew immediately that they were on hallowed ground. There was no fooling around, no jokes, not even a smirk. Boys and girls sudden became men and women.

Arlington can't be missed. I'm glad you were able to spend time there.

They were great photos Chris. Bill is right, Arlington is a must on a DC trip. Since you didn't have chance to see the major monuments/memorials, you have the perfect reason to get back some day. When are you heading home? Big hello to Kasey and the kids.
