The Crown

In the past we've had such places as the "The Black Swan" (Barry's local), "The Blue Boar", and various other drinking establishments where members could relax and enjoy a friendly drink. In that finest tradition, it is with great pleasure that I get to announce the opening of "The Crown".



Relax, put your feet up (just not on our furniture, or we'll send the tanks in) and enjoy yourself. Feel free to talk about everything and anything.

Oh, and the first round is on me!

Looks charming but is there space for me to park my Sherman? If not, someone will have to bring a bit of liquid refreshment out to me!

Excellent Nick! But now I have another concern. What if some of our members consume too much, exit the establishment and instead of taking a sharp left, go straight and land in that pond. Perhaps we need an OP out there just to be on the safe side. (I'm not volunteering, I will be inside. Age does have some privilege you know.)

Nick !!! I am a well behaved drinker; don't really consume too much, but someone has to feed me after the second beer. How is the chow in the new joint?

Well, Bill and Babe had no complaints about the quality of the food that day

Well, then I'll have whatever they had....as long as I don't have to cook it myself I'll eat almost anything.

Well I can cook.... I just don't like it. I keep reminding hubby, most of the best known chefs are men. Anyway, what's on the menu at The Crown?

as long the chips ain't covered with either brown sauce or vinegar. YUK!
