Co B 506th

I have interviewed the sister of Pvt Billy G Christain who served in Co B 506th. Billy was KIA 6 June 1944. She told me conflicting messages from the War Dept where 1 said he was KIA during the jump and 1 said he was KIA during action after the jump, on 6 June 1944. He was returned to Fairview Church Cemetery in Lamar County Alabama. His brother Tildon Christain served as a Medic that came ashore on Omaha Beach.
